Diesel Electric Power Ltd. provides new and refurbished industrial-scale Electrical Generators and Load Banks to Manufacturing and Service facilities where continuity of operations is a fundamental business requirement. Based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, we have a small team of diesel fitters servicing our wide range of customers from service facilities to multinational organisations.
This is a new and developing role that we wish to expand to provide more support to the team for our growing business. You will be based in our small workshop office in Ashbourne Co. Meath and be eager to use initiative to take on the development of this role. The days and hours are flexible for the right candidate, and we envisage this filling approximately 2-3 days per week depending on hours.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong administration proficiency with relevant qualifications including Sage or other accounts package experience (for managing jobs/PO’s/invoicing etc.).
Strong PC skills including Word and Excel
Be resourceful, motivated, and able to work on own initiative.
Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities and Duties (in development):
Provide administrative support to the Service, Sales and business Managers
Manage Generator Maintenance Contracts
Develop system for generator and load bank hire and manage.
Use initiative and explore opportunities to improve systems and processes
Answer phone calls and develop database of enquiries.
Maintaining office files and filing
Supporting with PO’s and invoicing
Supporting with logistics
Oversee Website / SEO / IT requirements managed by our IT company
Develop marketing materials for proactive sales targeting
Monitoring stationery stock and completing stationery orders
General office administrative duties which will be developed further
